Rede Brasil Atual Network was created in 2009, the result of a partnership between some workers 'unions led by the São Paulo Bankers' Union and the ABC Metalworkers Union. The entities are associated at Editora Atitude and Fundação Comunicação, Cultura e Trabalho, both entities under private law.

The publisher is responsible for the production of Revista do Brasil, created in 2006, and for the RBA portal. The foundation holds the concession of TVT concessions in 2010, the first open channel conducted by workers' organizations, and Rádio Brasil Atual, in 2012, (FM 98.9 in Greater São Paulo, FM 93.3 on the São Paulo coast and FM 102.7 in the northwest of the state).
