Information Television "Ora News" has entered the market of Albanian televisions with the decision of KKRT, Nr. 550, dated 31 January 2007, for analog television broadcasts, on channel 48 UHF and frequency 687.25 MHZ. Our broadcast signal was the first broadcast publicly on January 31, 2007.
Currently, our signal covers all major cities such as Tirana, Durres, Kavaja, Lushnja, Fier, Vlora, Himara, Saranda, Gjirokastra, Tepelena, Kakavija, Elbasan, Lezha, Shkodra, Kruja, Burrel, Pogradec. In all these cities we have Analog, Ground, Satellite and Internet signals.
As of August 25, 2008, Ora News Television is part of the DigitAlb platform in its terrestrial and satellite broadcasting package. Practically, the signal of our television is seen in the whole territory of the Republic of Albania and in the whole world, through the satellite package "DigitAlb". Ora News television can also be viewed via cable television throughout Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Canada, and the United States.
Since November 2007, "Ora News" has changed the appearance and style of its programs. In April 2010, RTV Ora News took a step of information giants by presenting for the first time in Albania the unique format of 20 hours of LIVE broadcast per day. On September 1, 2010, the maximum 24-hour LIVE broadcasting point was reached, making the Media Revolution for which the necessary economic and human investments had been made.
Only during 2010, investments to increase this successful network have opened studios from where LIVE broadcasts in Durrës, Vlora, Fier, Elbasan, Shkodra, Gjirokastra, Korca, Prizren, Skopje and modern European studios in Brussels.
Ora News has 80 journalists and field operators who are spread in all cities of Albania and broadcasts updated news with the latest events from the country and the world every hour.
Also, Ora News, since 2009 is the only television that has organized polls for political and local elections in Albania, in cooperation with the Italian company Ipr Marketing being successful in all surveys conducted 2009, 2011,2013, 2015.
