The existence of BINUS TV stems from a TV Club community that consists of BINUS University students with their love for broadcasting. As a streaming-based television, BINUS TV broadcasts every day for nearly 12 hours since January 2010. Since 2011, BINUS TV has decided to become a mass media under the auspices of the Binus Media Group. BINUS TV aims to disseminate information and cover activities carried out by all units both inside and outside the scope of Bina Nusantara Group. BINUS TV also performs its function as a practicum laboratory for students majoring in Marketing Communication, especially those who specialize in Broadcasting.
All programs broadcast by BINUS TV are purely the creations of employees and students, some of which are supported by competent partners, both with fellow mass media and various companies. The characteristics of these programs are tailored to the target audience which is dominated by young people, especially students who live in culture using the internet and communication technology. Various genres ranging from news, talks, movies, music, to culinary are discussed in programs on BINUS TV.
In its mission, BINUS TV produces a variety of quality content to meet the needs of the community, while at the same time empowering qualified and competitive human resources in the broadcasting field. All positive things are strived for by BINUS TV in realizing its vision to become the leading community television in producing educational content and continuously developing human resources who have special expertise and high dedication.
In the future, BINUS TV will continue to be a community television media that prioritizes dedication and high willingness in supporting communication for audiences in particular and society in general.
